Louise Warren's New Single "Home"
Released
A good friend,
voice student, and talented singer-songwriter, Louise Warren,
recently released her first single simply called "Home".
I am very proud
of her! This song was used on the local CBS affiliate WMAZ
Channel 13 in Macon, GA before the start of the 2013 Super Bowl.
We did all of
the recording, mixing, and mastering at Shadow Sound. I also
handled the arranging, producing and played all instruments
(with the exception of the vocals and acoustic guitar).
The version of
the song released for sale isn't the same version used on WMAZ;
it's longer, with another verse and a bridge. If you liked the
Super Bowl version, you will love this single.
I am pleased to
announce that my long time student and friend Chris Glover has
finally taken the plunge to be in the music biz and released his
debut EP project "No One Like Me"
This is a great
freshman recording and something lovers of pop music should
check out!
I am proud to
have provided mastering services and to have to produced the
track "Leave Me", where I performed all of the instruments. That song
was recorded at my studio, Shadow Sound along with Chris'
vocals. The rest of the project was produced at Chris' home
studio.
For lovers of
honest lyrics that actually mean something, you must give this
EP a chance.
I met Mason
Roberts back in 2007 at the EATV music awards. At the last minute, the
show organizers asked me if I would back up Mason on acoustic
guitar. From there, our friendship was formed.
I am proud all
these years later, to be his producer for his current CD which
we are finishing up this summer.
This song was
recorded in my studio. I played all of the instruments on it.
The vocals were tracked in Mason's home studio and then mixed at
Shadow Sound. It has been a fun challenge to do this project
with Mason (who lives in Michigan), but it worked out well. It's
sure to be a great project that music enthusiasts will enjoy.

TALENT WATCH RADIO
We are
proud to be working with
TalentWatch,
the fastest growing source for new talent discovery on the
internet!
It's like
American Idol only better - and a great way for talent bookers,
record label management firms, and artists to connect.
Joey
Stuckey, recording engineer, producer and owner of Shadow Sound
Studio, was hired to compose and record the TalentWatch theme
song being used to audio brand the radio show. Joey was also
used to produce an episode of the radio show (check it out here:
soundcloud.com/talentwatch/talentwatch-radio-show) and train
the staff on producing future episodes of the radio show.
Stuckey's voice is also heard in the intro of the show, various
audio and video promos, and throughout the program in-between
songs.
Says Hugh
Hession, TalentWatch radio host and show partner, "TalentWatch
Radio decided to record and produce our latest show at Shadow
Sound Studio with Joey Stuckey. We chose Shadow Sound because of
Joey's reputation of being a results-oriented engineer and
producer. He understood our vision and was able to transform
that into the caliber of show we needed. TalentWatch highly
recommends Joey to anyone who wishes to up their game."

The title of The Blessed Blend's
CD says it all... "Journeys Through The Mist" is truly a
journey!
The CD takes you through a
virtual cornucopia of musical sounds and good story telling -
from the very authentic Indian praise song "Call To Creator" to
the Celtic classic "Foggy Dew," to the "blessed blend" of the
powerful and historic tale of the plight of the Native American
Indian in the song "The Trail Where They Cried."
There is even an new take on
the classic tune "Scarborough Fair," with "Going To The
Gath'ring."
But, we did say "Journeys
Through the Mist," right? Well, the mist part comes into play
with all of the great ethereal percussion. Much of it authentic
native instruments and some awesome spaceage keyboard work by
two of the best musicians in the great state of Georgia, Hugh
Hession and Tom Rule.
So, take some time and check
this CD out. I know you will find it as much fun and as
educational to listen to as I did in helping to make it happen
as the recording engineer!
